Diving in Cabrera

South of Mallorca, right in front of Colonia de Sant Jordi, Archipelago de Cabrera is located. This archipelago is the best possible example of an untouched island ecosystem within the Spanish Mediterranean. Since 1991, the National Marine-Land Park hosts important native species diversity, including colonies of seabirds, endemic species and one of the best preserved sea bottoms of our coastal zone.

Dives for all levels and depths.

If you need to rent the diving gear, you can do it on-site just before diving. No previous reservation required, except for dry suits.

DIVING GUIDE ONBOARD

A professional diver (divemaster) is provided to guide the groups everyday (maximum 5 pairs of divers, usually less) with no additional cost. Private guides are also available upon request due to the lack of expertise of some divers (see next paragraph).

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

An Open Water Diver certification is enough to conduct all dives in Cabrera, although it is highly recommended that all boat divers in open waters are up-to-date with their skills and knowledge. As a certified diver you are responsible for keeping yourself updated. In case you do not believe you are ready for a boat dive in open waters, please check the options at your disposal:

  • Request an individual divemaster for yourself or your whole group: (+85€ half-day boat trip / +110€ full-day boat trip).
  • Take a refreshment course: See refreshment courses.

PRIVATE BOAT

It is possible to book a private boat just for you and your group.

If your group is 10 divers, this option is cheaper than booking by places.

Those who are not into diving can also come onboard.

Please select this option when booking.
